Hello
My name is Tesla Thoms and I own and operate Tidbits and Afters out of my home in Cottage Grove, Oregon. I am married with 3 kids, ages 4 to 16. When I am not in my kitchen, I also own and operate Tallulah & Co. Children's Boutique in downtown Cottage Grove, and I serve on the board of directors for the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and Opal Center for Art's and Education.
I enjoy traveling, the outdoors, kayaking, coaching and playing soccer and reading.
My Story
I cannot remember when I learned to cook, just that one day I started and never stopped. Creating beautiful and delicious meals and sharing them with others has always brought me joy. When I had to stop eating gluten 10 years ago, and then recently dairy, it became a mission and a passion to make food that everyone could enjoy, and not feel like they were missing something. While I can also make "regular food" upon request, meeting dietary needs is what I am most passionate about.
For the last 15 years I have worked in healthcare management, where I gained extensive knowledge about nutrition and health related diets. It was not until 2020 that I left my career to pursue more of what brought me joy, and thus Tidbits and Afters was born.
